CNC Turner

With the ability to turn to tight tolerances and a good understanding of geometric symbols, the ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, extracting the correct data to meet customer demands.

THE ROLE:

• Operating manual and CNC turning machinery or CNC milling machinery to conduct internal and external turning or milling of components to customer drawings.
• Use of inspection equipment to ensure adherences to all sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes.

ABOUT YOU:

• Time-served Turner or Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
• Experience of programming and operating CNC Turning or Milling machines
• Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
• Self-motivated with an eye for detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to hit the ground running and enjoy working within a small skilled team
• Customer Service experience is essential, along with excellent people skills
• Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK

37 hours per week | Monday – Friday | Early/Back shifts

• Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid) | Friday 6am – 11am
• Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm – 10pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid) | Friday 11am – 4pm

(Shifts can be rotating, or permanent early or back shift)
