Polymer Nanocomposites Scientists

Due to recent funding our client is looking to recruit two full-time and permanent Polymer Nanocomposites Scientists.  You will have a PhD in either chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, materials science or nanomaterials engineering.

THE ROLE:

• Research and development of microplastic free & water dispersible polymers
• Research and development of dispersion techniques for graphene into polymers
• Performance optimisation of current biodegradable polymers and adhesives
• Design and validate new testing protocols for consumer packaging products
• Documentation and interpretation of experiments
• Project management, risk assessments and budgeting
• Maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment
